I am very sensitive to smells.  If the mat has any smell will it eventually go away?

All MediCrystal mats use zero-emission fabrics and artisan sewing to affix the stones in place without any glue or chemical compounds.  

They are 100% safe for humans and pets and emit no odors whatsoever. 

When the mat is heated for the first time, It may give off a little scent that usually goes away after several hours of pre-use testing, which we recommend starting with. It is not harmful.

To some customers, it vaguely resembles a new car smell. You can also put the mat on high heat without covers for a whole night in a garage, and the scent will go away.

Of course, if you are very sensitive, it may take 1-2 weeks.
