- I have MediCrystal Mini Mat. When I put the temperature to 70 it switches down to 25 almost immediately. I cannot get it to stay on this high temperature.

- About the MediCrystal® Mat Heating System
- How long does it take for the MediCrystal mat to reach the highest temperature?
- I have set the Mini Mat temperature to 70°C for 3 hours and have covered it with a thick blanket as you recommend, but I am noticing that the temperature has increased to 72°C on its own. It also fluctuates between 50 and 70°C, is this normal function?
- Why is the temperature of the mat surface so low and why does it change so much?
- I unboxed the mat as instructed and started to preheat it (great that there is no smell). But after 2 hours at 70°C, the surface of the mat is only 100-120°F. Is my controller defective?
- Does an increase in temperature cause an increase in the FIR waves, or is it a deeper penetration to the body? If I run low temp, will I have the same effect as at higher temp?
- The heating indicator seems to come on and off. Why isn’t this consistently on when the mat is plugged in?
- The end bottom tubes with crystals and the 1-2” on the left and right sides seem cooler. Is my mat defective if it does not get evenly hot across the whole surface?
- Do MediCrystal mats get hot to the touch when they heat up?
- How is the mat protected from overheating?
- What is the function of the bimetal switches in the mat?
