What is the difference of MediCrystal mats’ PEMF and Bemer Mat or other expensive devices in the market?
There are many dedicated PEMF devices in the market with different levels of intensity of the magnetic field, ranging from 0.1 to 2000 gauss, and with frequencies ranging from 1 to 100 Hz and different wave shapes (square, sawtooth, sine) and alternating speeds.
Some of these products allow adjusting these parameters for different conditions or claim to have special programs with different resulting waves. These devices may cost up to $20,000 per unit.
We consider that the basic pure sine wave studied by NASA, 50-100 gauss intensity at 10Hz, works best for most customers and conditions. Because the intensity of PEMF decreases with distance, we made sure to include extra coils (up to 10 pieces) in the larger mats.
PEMF cycles on for 20 minutes every 60 minutes on mats with H-series controllers or 30 minutes every 2 hours on mats with L-series controllers when the mat is ON and activated.
