Controllers L-40PV and L-40PVA for Purple MediCrystal Amethyst Agate PEMF Photon mats

Both L-40PV and L-40PVA controllers allow using the heating, photon and magnetic functions together or separately.

Both controllers allow you to adjust warming temperature with a 1-degree step from 86°F to 158°C displayed in Celsius from 30°C to 70°C.

Level 1 is 86°F or 30°C (for Negative Ions, all-night sleep, slight warmth)
Level 2 is 98°F or 36°C (Low to sleep)
Level 3 is 110°F or 43°C (Low-medium to relax)
Level 4 is 120F or 49C (Medium to relax or reenergize)
Level 5 is 133°F or 56°C (Medium-High for warming)
Level 6 is 145°F or 63°C (High for soothing)
Level 7 is 158°F or 70°C (Highest mode for sweating)

To activate PEMF, the L-40PV controller should be ON, the timer set (3-time selections), PEMF button pressed. If you choose to add heating, rotate the dial so that the display shows set temperature for a moment (then it switches back to showing the current temperature).

L-40PVA controller with 3-frequency selection works the same. The only difference is that if you need to activate heating, press the heating button first, then rotate the dial.

L-40PV has one PEMF setting 10 Hz and three timer settings: 3, 6 and 12 Hours.
L-40PVA has three PEMF settings 4 Hz, 8 Hz, 14 Hz and a built-in timer with auto shut-off after 8 hours.

Both types of controllers activate PEMF for 30 mins and then stop for 1.5 hours and resume again for 30 mins and then stop for 1.5 hours. The full bio-magnetism program consists of four cycles of active and passive phases. It lasts six hours and a half. The timer of L-40PV should be on 12H to let the full program.

Both types of controllers activate Red Lights for 1 hour and then stop for 3 hours and resume again for 1 hour. The full Photon program consists of two active cycles with one passive period in-between. It lasts five hours and a half. The timer of L-40PV should be on 6H to let the full program.

If you use both PEMF and Heating functions together, please do not set the temperature higher than 50 C while PEMF is ON. To learn how your body reacts better to try these functions separately for a short time like 10-15 minutes and with a lower intensity.

If you are looking for a replacement controller, please make sure the controller model corresponds to the number of Red Light LEDs on your mat. For example, both the L-40PVA-6 and L-40PV-6 are for the Purple Mini Mat with six red lights. While L-40PVA-12 and L-40PV-12 work for the Purple Midsize Mat with 12 lights, and so on.
