Controllers L-40V and L-40VA for MediCrystal 4 Gems Disks PEMF mats
Both L-40V and L-40VA controllers allow using the heating and magnetic functions together or separately.

L-40V and L-40VA are very similar, but they do not have the "Photon" button and function.
Both controllers allow you to adjust warming temperature with a 1-degree step from 86°F to 158°C displayed in Celsius from 30°C to 70°C.
- Level 1 is 86°F or 30°C (for Negative Ions, all-night sleep, slight warmth)
- Level 2 is 98°F or 36°C (Low to sleep)
- Level 3 is 110°F or 43°C (Low-medium to relax)
- Level 4 is 120F or 49C (Medium to relax or reenergize)
- Level 5 is 133°F or 56°C (Medium-High for warming)
- Level 6 is 145°F or 63°C (High for soothing)
- Level 7 is 158°F or 70°C (Highest mode for sweating)
Please, connect the controller first to the mat and only then to the power socket.
If you do not use the mat, unplug the controller from the power socket but no need to disconnect it from the mat frequently. The connection should be tight, and if it is loose or you attach the controller in the wrong order, it may not function correctly.
If you feel that 3, 6, or 12 hours is too much, use an external timer. Some heavy-duty ones with a built-in surge protector may be the right choice for double protection.
- L-40V has one PEMF setting 10 Hz and three timer settings: 3, 6, and 12 Hours.
- L-40VA has three PEMF settings 4 Hz, 8 Hz, 14 Hz and a built-in timer with auto shut-off after 8 hours.
To activate PEMF, the L-40V controller should be ON, the timer set (3-time selections), PEMF button pressed. If you choose to add heating, rotate the dial so that the display shows set temperature for a moment (then it switches back to showing the current temperature).
L-40VA controller with 3-frequency selection works the same. The only difference is that if you need to activate heating, press the heating button first, then rotate the dial.
Both types of controllers activate PEMF for 30 mins and then stop for 1.5 hours and resume again for 30 mins and then stop for 1.5 hours. The full bio-magnetism program consists of four cycles of active and passive phases. It lasts six hours and a half. The timer of L-40V should be on 12H to let the full program.
If you use both PEMF and Heating functions together, please do not set the temperature higher than 50 C while PEMF is ON. To learn how your body reacts better to try these functions separately for a short time like 10-15 minutes and with a lower intensity.

If you are looking for a replacement controller, please make sure the controller's connector is the same as on your old one. We have two kinds of connectors for these controllers. One is type "A" with 5-pins. Another one is type "B" with 3+2 pins.
So the full controller model name can be L-40V-A, L-40V-B, L-40VA-A or L-40VA-B.
